The Mama Project creates: 

• inter-cultural

• inter-racial

• inter-generational artistic projects for women 

Each project explores  themes and questions that bring us together as women and human beings.  Using these themes and questions, we collaborate to create art, tell our stories, and express our cultures.  This work culminates in exhibits, performances, workshops, and other public events for our families, communities, and partners. 

The Mama Project helps individuals to build confidence, communities to build trust, and people from different backgrounds to develop understanding and new relationships.  In a broken world, The Mama Project creates an opportunity for women from very different backgrounds to connect, find common ground, heal, and create something meaningful together.
